Plastic Fabrication and Tanks

CPS custom fabricates thermoplastic, process tanks and holding tanks ranging in capacities from 10 to over 20,000 gallons in any desired configuration and dimensional requirement. 

 

To achieve the safest tank, CPS utilizes a variety of thermoplastic materials to achieve the correct chemical compatibility for the application.  For example, CPS has fabricated tanks out of Polypropylene, Kynar, PVC, Polyethylene and has also lined extreme application tanks with materials such as Halar. 

 

CPS designs its Thermoplastic tanks according to Solid Works - 3D, RITA 6 design software and the DVS German plastic joining codes.

 

CPS also incorporates a variety design features into our tanks, such as:

 

• Corner doublers to protect the structural weld

• Full-port drains

• Specialized internal or external thermoplastic piping and connections

• Self-supporting tanks, reinforced with plastic-encapsulated steel girthrings and/or yokes to handle the hydrostatic pressure of the contained liquids.

• Sloped bottoms.

• Integrated fume exhaust manifold and hoods.

• Butt-welding for increased strength and structural integrity
